Abstract

Sustainable tourism focuses on promoting tourism activities while protecting natural resources and cultural heritage. It aims to balance economic development with environmental conservation and the preservation of historical and cultural assets. Responsible tourism practices help reduce negative impacts on heritage sites and encourage respect for local traditions and cultural values. This study is based on a review of secondary data from academic journals, reports, and policy documents. The findings indicate that community participation and effective tourism planning play a crucial role in preserving cultural heritage. The paper concludes that sustainable tourism is essential for ensuring long-term cultural preservation and sustainable development.
