Fee Waiver Program
International Journal of Research and Technology is committed to promoting equitable access to academic publishing for researchers worldwide. We understand that publication costs may pose a barrier for some authors, particularly those from low- and middle-income countries or without institutional funding. To address this, we offer a Fee Waiver and Discount Program for eligible authors.
- Eligibility for Waivers and Discounts
You may apply for a full or partial waiver of the Article Processing Charge (APC) if you meet one or more of the following criteria:
- You are based in a low-income or lower-middle-income country as defined by the World Bank.
- You do not have access to research funding or institutional support for publication costs.
- You are an early-career researcher (within five years of your first academic appointment) without funding.
- Your submission is a high-quality manuscript of significant academic value, as assessed by the Editorial Board.
- Types of Waivers
- Full Waiver – 100% APC waived.
- Partial Waiver – 25% to 75% APC reduction, depending on circumstances.
- How to Apply
- Submit your waiver request at the time of manuscript submission.
- Include a Waiver Application Form stating your reason for request, proof of eligibility (if applicable), and any supporting documents.
- Email the completed form to editor@ijrt.org with the subject line: Waiver Request – [Your Manuscript Title].
- Decision Process
- The waiver application will be reviewed by the Editorial Office and Finance Team.
- Applicants will be notified of the decision before the peer review process begins.
- Important Notes
- Waivers are not guaranteed and depend on funding availability.
- Requesting a waiver will not affect editorial or peer review decisions.
- Only one waiver request per manuscript is allowed.
By offering this program, International Journal of Research and Technology ensures that the ability to publish high-quality research is based on academic merit and not limited by financial constraints.
