Abstract

This paper report a triangular printed patch  antenna with a modified finite ground plane that covers the  ISM Band . Modifying the ground plane gives a simple  tuning mechanism for the frequency bands and impedance  bandwidth. The antenna was studied in the context of a  characterization of “Swastik” shape and its effect on    frequency domain parameter . The geometry of the  antenna is described, together with the return loss, surface  current ,VSWR and radiation patterns. The software CST  Microwave Studio was used to simulate the performance of  the antenna. The resultant antenna with Defected Ground  Structure has improved in parameters performance. I used  HFSS software to complete my work.
