Abstract

This study investigates the effectiveness of nutritional education interventions on improving postnatal dietary practices and overall maternal health. Focusing on recent evidence, the research synthesises data from various sources, including randomised controlled trials and systematic reviews. The study examines the impact of nutritional knowledge on dietary habits, identifies gaps in current practices, and explores the role of key nutrients, such as iron, calcium, and omega-3 fatty acids, in postpartum recovery. The findings suggest that tailored educational interventions significantly enhance postnatal women's nutritional knowledge and dietary choices. This paper underscores the importance of integrating comprehensive nutritional education into postpartum care to optimise maternal health outcomes and provide a foundation for future research in this domain.
