Global warming poses multifaceted challenges to India’s environment by impacting key sectors such as agriculture, water resources, public health, and biodiversity. This study investigates the sectoral dynamics of global warming across India by integrating recent literature, empirical data, and policy reviews. Using a mixed-methods approach, the research analyzes sector-specific vulnerabilities, adaptation responses, and policy effectiveness. The findings reveal that while targeted interventions exist, critical gaps remain in regional climate modeling, cross-sectoral coordination, and the integration of local knowledge in adaptation. The paper concludes with recommendations for strengthening sectoral resilience and aligning India’s climate actions with global sustainability goals.
