Outcome-Based Education (OBE) signals a significant transformation in teacher preparation, shifting from traditional input-focused models to learner-centered approaches that emphasize measurable competencies. In B.Ed. institutions, embedding structured self-evaluation within OBE frameworks emerges as a powerful method to cultivate reflective, independent educators. This study explores diverse self-assessment practices—ranging from reflective journals and peer feedback to rubric-guided portfolios—and outlines systematic strategies for integration, including curriculum redesign, faculty development, student orientation, and digital assessment reforms. Practical illustrations of rubrics and performance indicators for lesson planning, micro-teaching, and portfolio evaluation are provided to support NAAC-aligned quality enhancement. Findings reveal that self-evaluation strengthens accountability, reflective practice, and institutional resilience by fostering evidence-based improvement. The paper concludes that sustained faculty training, digital integration, and curriculum alignment with OBE principles can establish a culture of excellence, nurturing educators who embody both pedagogical competence and lifelong learning dispositions.
